Web Developer

Banyan Medical Systems, Inc. is headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. We design, develop, produce, sell, and support custom Healthcare IT solutions. Our work focuses on the integration of real-time data streams in support of providing care givers, patients, and family members access to coordinated, holistic care information. We currently offer configurable solutions for procedural area integration (e.g. operating rooms), fall prevention, virtual nursing, and multisource audio/video collaboration. In addition, we offer scalable custom solutions for addressing room to enterprise level collaboration needs. Summary

This person will be the primary developer for the implementation of the Mobile application.  They will be responsible for creating      and/or overseeing the implementation.This person will be the primary developer for the implementation of the Mobile application.

 They will be responsible for creating and/or overseeing the implementation of the mobile application UI.  They will require the  following skill sets:

  • Strong knowledge with multiple web technologies (Javascript, etc.)
  • Knowledge of multiple web technology frameworks.  (Node, Angular, React)
  • Strong background regarding UX/UI development. 
  • Good understanding of application performance and scalability.
  • Good understanding of agile methodology.
  • Good understanding of source code repositories.  (Git, SVN, Mercurial, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of .NET architecture.
  • 5 to 10 years experience developing with web technologies.

Business Analyst

This person will collaborate with the Clinical and Service personnel to understand the customer's needs and identify use cases of how they would use our software.
They will understand the priorities of how our Software features are being used by our customers and coordinate requirements gathering sessions between the technical team, clinical team and identified stakeholders and document the requirements identified by both teams. They will also collaborate with all stakeholders to identify the acceptance criteria for all requirements identified for the release, coordinate demos of completed stories to impacted stakeholder and get sign off.

Skills:

  • Excellent understanding of agile methodology
  • Ability to use ticket-tracking system. (TFS, JIRA, etc.)
  • Ability to create wire frames, flowcharts and diagrams using various tools.  (Visio, Gliffy, etc.)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • 5 years experience as a Business Analyst.

Applications Architect

This person will be responsible for designing the overall system architecture.  They will create and oversee the design and architecture of the back end systems, including services, APIs, and deployment methodologies.

This candidate will need to have strong skills with the following items: 

  • Web services
  • Micro-service architecture
  • REST API 
  • .NET programming
  • Java-based programming
  • Web security (encryption, authentication, etc.)
  • Application performance, scalability, and maintenance.

  • Database integration  (MS SQL, MySQL, Mongo, etc.)

Business Development Executive

The Business Development Team at Banyan Medical Systems is a great way to get your foot in the door with a growing, stable software company, learn different aspects of the business, and launch your career in the tech industry. We promote from within, and see our Business Development Team as our talent farming team.


As our Business Development Executive, your goal is to connect our prospective customers to our sales team by qualifying leads, setting appointments, and making the handoff. You will call anywhere from 80-100 prospects per day, getting them excited about our products. You will also identify quality leads through internet searches, email, social media, referrals, or any other method you find handy for prospecting.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prospect potential customers in the healthcare industry, primarily hospitals.
  • Identify key buying influencers within these prospects to determine budget and timeline.
  • Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executive for further development and closure.
  • Work with Account Executives to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
  • It is a necessity that our sales representatives are personable and continuously educate the customer on all of the tools available to them through Banyan Medical Systems.

Senior Software Developer

SUMMARY

Facilitate the use and improvement of a software development lifecycle. Coordinate and conduct necessary product release activities as dictated by the Software Development Lifecycle to include managing software development teams, gathering functional requirements, providing direction for the development, reviewing and testing software products, and instilling a culture for structured processing within a team environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Researches, designs, and develops medical software applications, in conjunction with development team.
  • Designs, implements, and maintains system architecture of various software platforms based on necessarysoftware changes.
  • Assists other developers in customizing and/or tailoring software architecture features for use in businesslevel implementations.
  • Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Performs bug, feature, and system testing and troubleshooting.
  • Assists with creating and maintaining documentation for features and systems.
  • Consults with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware andsoftware, and operational and performance requirements of overall system.
  • Develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation.
  • Consults with service organization concerning on-going maintenance of software systems.
  • Periodically assists with on-site installation processes.
  • Provides escalation support to all field service engineers and other support staff.
  • Ensure corporate compliance with FDA regulatory requirements.
